Money Making Work UK Tour

In the first part of September we were glad to host Graeme and Sharon Lauridsen on our first ever Making Money Work UK tour. We launched in Gloucester and covered Doncaster, Burnley and concluded in Bedworth, Warwickshire. Several hundred people were able to receive incredible principles and wisdom from the clearly defined teaching on:

(i) The crushing power of debt
(ii) The joy of the liberated giving
(iii) The law of accumulation
(iv) Creating a financial future for your life based on moral and ethical principles.

Through the teaching delegates were able to see how following these principles they would be able to not only secure the well being of their immediate family, but that it would enable them to be a great resource to help others. There was a huge and positive response in each location of wanting Graeme and Sharon back in some future time and we are currently in the planning stages for 2007.

King’s Community Church – Warwickshire

What a privilege it was to have Graeme and Sharon Lauridsen with us late September this year. Although initially we had asked Graeme to speak on the topic of Generosity and Abundance mindset, just a few days before both of felt that it would be appropriate timing for him to speak into our church situation regarding the empowering presence of the holy spirit in our lives. Graeme’s ministry was clear, strong, practical and personal. The Church related to him ever so well, and it was clear that he came from a strong local church base and our folk related well to that. In the evening we hosted the Making Money Work Seminar. Once again it was a tremendous experience for the large number of people who chose to attend. The material was excellent, it was wellpresented and again was extremely practical and life applicable. We are so thrilled that Graeme and Sharon were able to be with us and we thank God for bringing us such a tremendous big hearted clear thinking ministry gift into our church at this time.

Robinswood AOG – Gloucester

Graeme and Sharon Lauridsen visited Robinswood Church Gloucester at a crucial time in our development. We are a church in transition and our guests arrived 2 weeks before Senior Leader, Simon Jarvis, had scheduled our Vision Launch day including a Vision offering. Graeme has a prophetic edge to his ministry which was dramatically demonstrated as he read to us a significant portion of scripture that God had impressed on us a few days before. We found Graeme’s approach to teaching on financial health to be genuine in demeanour, gentle in style and though provoking in content. God supplies our needs. Beyond this, Graeme challenged us to see from the Bible that God also delights in the prosperity of his people and that while there is one person in need on our planet we need to be blessed to be a blessing.

International City Church – Doncaster

On the evening of Sept 20th we hosted Graeme and Sharon Lauridsen at International City Church in Doncaster. The event was a fantastic evening of revelation, truth and inspiration regarding the whole area of financial stewardship and wealth creation. Every person present was given a full booklet of Grame’s teaching notes, so that they could follow what he was teaching and take home other things he was not able to cover on the night. All of the 120 people booked into the event were impacted by the very practical, bible based teaching that Graeme gave. Here are some of the things people said about the event

Kingdom Business Summit

Proton Foundation hosted another Kingdom Business Summit in Coventry in UK in September 2006. It was incredibly inspiring and instructive time with Graeme Lauridsen from New Zealand. Graeme himself has developed a property business over the last number of years and has seen outstanding success,largely using his process to assist him in his ministry supporting world missions and to planting the new churches. He holds clear understanding of business principles as well as Biblical principles and how they work together with great synergy.

The Kingdom Business Summit was a great experience as a group of young emerging leaders gathered to brainstorm and investigate the future possibilities that God might have for them in becoming great wealth creators in the Kingdom of God.

Some of the areas that were discussed:
(i) Stay within your effectiveness boundary. That is a level of your gifting, pleasure and enjoyment in what you do – which will ultimately produce revenue resources

(ii) Accumulation was also discussed and how to create an advantage and momentum within your business as the asset base continues to grow and increasel

(iii) One final thought at the end of the day was a testimony from Graeme’s personal commitment to sacrificial giving and how this released an enormous resource through his life so that he could be a great help to the people around him.

Future Summits are being planned for 2007.

Kingdom Business Summits

2-3 June 2006 | Melbourne

The Proton Foundation and BGMI presented to the Melbourne Christian Business Community on June 2-3 the first Australasian Kingdom Business Summit. This event was held over two days in a fantastic venue in the sprawling urban city of Melbourne. Subjects covered were ‘The Principal of the Gate – Influencing a City’, ‘Abundance Mindset’, ‘Supply Line & Ministry of Business Mindsets’, and ‘Strategic Alliance’. Also included a Key Note Presentation by Peter Irvine, Co-founder and CEO of Gloria Jeans Coffee and an interview with Dan Daniels of the Daniels Corporation and a special presentation by Peter Harris (BGMI) and Ian Green (Proton Foundation) about the ‘Global Business Network’. Alongside the main sessions we held Break-outs with a number of strategic speakers.

Defeat is not important. It is how you come back from defeat that is important.
