Mastering Money in Opole, Poland
Ian and Judith Green travelled to Opole, Poland, during April to facilitate two seminars. 30 delegates attended the Business Seminar and 40 delegates enroled for Mastering Money.
Ian and Judith shared some very practical ways on how to budget, manage finances and handle debt. Besides lectures, the delegates also had an opportunity to participate in an exercise set on a hypothetical task: what would you do with 2,500 Euros? The main objective was to find creative ways to invest this money within a local and national context.
What delegates said:
Alexandra (22): "I need to learn to distinguish between my needs and my wants. After the seminar I reduced my wants and started to give more to help others."
Izabela (26): "I have learned that wealth starts in your mind from which material profits come from. After the seminar I looked at my spending. I discovered I could do without some of it."
Peter (25): "Three main things I have learned from Ian’s teaching: how to prepare a family budget, not to be in debt and giving with the blood on our hands – together with my wife we aim for excellence in those areas."
Magdalena (26): "Since the seminar I collected all my receipts to see how much I really spend. Because of that I made my first ever monthly budget. Also I reduced my spending by making lunch at home and not buying one at work (yes, it really does make a financial difference!)."
Anna (26): "I have learned that everyone can make more money and what steps are necessary to achieve it."
