The Proton Foundation is offering internship placements commencing in January or September 2010. Based in the UK the placements are for a duration of 3, 10 or 12 months.

As an expression of the Proton Foundation and in partnership with Elevate interships, we aim to provide meaningful opportunities for interns to gain cross cultural experience and become agents of change, whilst helping them to develop skills that will prepare them for success and serve them throughout their lives. |
As an intern you will be based in Bedworth, England at the Proton Foundation offices where you will be fully integrated as part of the Proton team! Interns see behind the scenes and learn valuable skills in the way that we work. Each day you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on projects with the Proton Foundation. Your placement will allow you to discover your talents and give you immediate opportunities to engage with the many projects currently being developed and delivered by the Proton team.
We will train and develop you to be an effective leader, leaving your time with the organisation not only knowing how to do something, but actually having done it! The Proton Foundation wants to invest in you as a whole person by helping to strengthen your character and develop your gifts and talents. You will learn from people devoted to helping you become a success!
Interns attend classes throughout their internship designed to give them a strategic approach for developing leadership skills. Each day interns will actively participate in the day-to-day operations of the Proton Foundation.
Tasks could include, travelling to project areas, development of creative informational materials, research related to projects, facilitating and coordinating events and courses, administrative office support and attending and assisting with strategic planning and project development.
