Team Leader : Missional Business & Social Enterprise

The purpose of this position is to champion, direct and oversee the work of the Foundation in the area of Missional business and social enterprise development (MBSE), in order to assist the organisation to achieve its charitable aims and objectives.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To promote the work of the Foundation, specifically championing the area of missional business and social enterprise

2. To assist the Foundation and its partners to identify and develop opportunities for creating micro-businesses, franchises and commercial enterprises.

3. Establishing and administering a process for raising/providing funding to small businesses and enterprises in the form of Micro-finance, loans and grants.

4. To develop policies and procedures in relation to the delivery of MBSE support services.

5. To be active members of the Proton Consult team, providing coaching and mentoring  in the area of businesses development as part of a business support/incubation service.

6. To assist the Foundation and its partners to identify and develop opportunities for social enterprise and community development programmes.

7. To explore, identify, secure funding for missional business and social enterprise development.

8. To manage the financial budget for the service area.

9. To carry out other tasks commensurate to the post as directed by the Foundation’s Directors.
