Community Impact Academy
The Proton Foundation and Hurt Ltd are seeking to develop and connect a network of partners from third sector organisations across Europe who are currently engaged in social enterprise or wishing to develop social enterprise services in their local community. Thus delivering social enterprise development training to partnering organisations through the means of training conferences, exchange visits and mentoring.
Centred around a learning academy which will cover topics such as management, leadership, value based cultures, capacity building and sustainability, human resources, finances and budgeting and strategic planning. Alongside this training, exchange visits between projects will take place to re-enforce theory with practice. Each partner project will have the opportunity to host a training exchange visit, thus giving them an ideal opportunity to be exposed to International event management, problem-solving and cross-cultural hospitality.
Funding is currently being sought through the EU Leonardo Partnership Programme to offset project expenses which will be managed by HURT Ltd. The Leonardo da Vinci programme is part of the European Commission’s new Lifelong Learning Programme and aims to build a skilled workforce across Europe. It seeks to enable organisations across Europe to network and work together in small scale co-operation.
