From Potential to Performance
Jim Dunn was the guest speaker at the EuroSummit Conference in Krakow, Poland and led an inspiring session on the necessity for individuals and organisation, both from the church and in business, to get trained and equipped to implement real positive change in our local communities. Jim spoke on “Closing the Gap”; Reducing inequalities for People and Places. A catalyst for this process as he described, is the training and positive mindset that The Pacific Institute programmes and teachings offer that can be applied strategically.
The Pacific Institute’s Strategic Contribution offers a whole community approach to raising personal and collective efficacy, aspiration and ambition, the application of The Pacific Institute’s portfolio at all ages and ability levels—residents, professional agencies, partnerships, enterprises which enables a legacy—building capacity and skills transfer through training local facilitators.
This session was met with a great universal enthusiasm. The room of delegates from Eastern Europe and further a field were able to capture the generic understanding of the strategic TPI programmes, including how these can be set up and used in creating a permanent positive change in their individual communities.
“It surpassed my expectations….It will help build a positive and cooperative network of organisations with common goals, focus, purpose and effectiveness.”
