About Harvey Trauter

Harvey Trauter is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He is married to Arlene and together they have two adult children who currently attend university in Langley BC.

Harvey has spent many years in management and leadership working specifically with non profits and charities. He is a venture capitalist and is presently the director of a non profit in Vancouver called City Axis. Harvey is a Birkman Certified Consultant and has been a consultant to several non profit organizations and businesses. He has worked directly with non profits in their human resources understanding this to be one of the most challenging management systems to develop, maintain and empower. The application of the Birkman enables higher levels of performance for individuals, teams and organizations and reduces stress behaviors. The Birkman is a powerful means to gain critical answers to how and why you lead, learn, think, decide and relate to others. As a result, you can maximize the performance of the most important organizational asset – people. Harvey is also involved directly in Zambia Africa in a humanitarian outreach called “Villages of Hope” which provides housing, food and education to the orphans of AIDS. Harvey is presently completing his MA in Leadership and Biblical Studies from Trinity Western University.
