About David Ash

David Ash, a serial entrepreneur since the age of 21, has operated numerous businesses in a wide variety of categories. His most notable entrepreneurial success was a small loan consumer finance company, Payroll Loans, which he founded in 1995. Commencing with one employee the company grew into one of the world’s largest online payday loan service providers employing over 500 people.

In 2004 David sold this business and began a new chapter in his entrepreneurial life. Discovering how to best use his God given talents and resources as a follower of Jesus Christ is what drives him today.

In addition to a variety of commercial real estate interests, David is involved in a number of “Benevolent Business” ventures. They range from housing the hardest of the hard to house in Vancouver’s Downtown East Side to leading edge technology ventures aimed at sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

David enjoys an active family life in Langley, B.C. with his wife Lise, son Donavon 14, and daughter Jasmine 12.
